“Natasha or Nicole…”

“Natalie!”

“I have nothing to lie about. Why don’t you call Don and ask him? Either way I’m hella busy so I gotta go,” I said brushing past them, grabbing my duffel bag and activated my car alarm. I was switching towards the Employees’ entrance of Shine in seconds.

"All, I know is I'm his wife," said Natalie. She pointed to her wedding ring, "He will always be mine. Give it up."

"Ya, girl," said her sister.

"I don't want him. Don't worry. Boo, he can barely afford me. If I wanted him, I'd have him, already."

“You’re a hoe. Keep shakin’ your ass on that pole and stop callin’ my man, bitch.”

“Call me what you want but you’ll never call me broke,” I yelled at the busted bitches over my shoulder without slowing my stride.

“I will catch your raggedy ass slippin’.”

“You ain’t catchin’ nothing but a beat down,” I said, “Besides, your man loves this ass cause his tongue was all up in it.” This must of hit a nerve because suddenly Natalie was coming after me and her sister was close behind.

“I don’t have time for this so either throw the first punch or hop back in your ride and dip,” I said showing them my razor blade.

They turned and headed for their car huffing and puffing the whole way there. Soft hoes.“You ladies have a good night, now,” I said.

I made a mental note to start carrying my glock, again. You never know when shit is about to pop off. I studied my face in my mirrored compact. All I had on was some Mac lipgloss and YSL mascara yet I’m still the baddest one in this club and all these other bitches better know it.

“Who was that,” asked my only friend at Shine's, Nina.

We go way back. I'm cute as Hell so I only roll with fly bitches. Maybe, it’s because other females tend to be jealous of my swag but not Nina. Nina is beautiful in her own way. Her almond shaped face was smooth as silk and a chocolate brown. She was a bit slim for my taste but, unlike many of Shine's girls, her surgically enhanced curves were well-proportioned. Of course, she isn't badder than me but no one is. If she got a little more ass, there may actually be some competition in this club.

“Nothing that I couldn’t handle.”

It takes more than a basic bitch and company to slow up anything I have going on.

“Another baby mama,” she asked.

Like myself, Nina is a Shine veteran. Defending yourself against wives/girlfriends/baby mamas that see exotic dancers as the enemy or sluts tryin’ to take their man was a part of the job description. They can keep the nigga, we just want his dough.

“Wife and sister.”

“You good, right?”

“You know how I do,” I said, “Let’s go get this money.”

We strutted towards the dressing room. Our heels like drums on the linoleum tile. Shine's security cameras followed our every move so I put a little extra spin in my switch.
